Getting Started

  • July 2, 2018

I don’t have a lot to say, so this will be a pretty short post.

Have you ever experienced the excitement of starting a new business? That’s the point where I’m at now.

I’m going to rent a car I own out to other people via Turo to try and make some side income, and I’m going to document it here on EVSideHustle.com.

I want to be as transparent as possible, so you can see exactly how I do it, whether it’s successful or not, and how I try to improve the process, profits, and overall success of the side hustle. I also plan to leverage my experiences from Turo in other ways to try to boost my income as well.

One of the constraints I put on myself is that the car had to be an electric vehicle as I believe that’s the direction we are headed. Maintenance on electric vehicles is simpler, less frequent, and they are less likely to breakdown due to fewer parts overall.

Let’s get started on this adventure together.
